Arizona Registered Agent.co
Premium Business Security

Looking for a ZenBusiness Alternative in Arizona?

Honest statutory agent representation in Arizona for $99/year. Includes the address used on filings, same-day scanning of legal mail, and reminders for state deadlines.

Bias check before anything else. Arizona Registered Agent.co runs this page and sells the service we are about to recommend, so weigh the opinions however you like. The ZenBusiness numbers below are lifted straight off their own pricing, and those hold up no matter what you think of us.

Nobody Builds a Nicer Dashboard

Credit where it belongs. ZenBusiness has the slickest software in this whole category, and if you enjoy having formation paperwork, filing status, and agent mail sitting behind one clean login, that experience is genuinely good. Plenty of owners want the whole admin side of a company in a single place, and ZenBusiness serves them well. This page is not an argument about the app.

$99 Now, $199 Later

Buy agent service from ZenBusiness by itself, no formation package attached, and year one is $99 plus state fees. Then the renewal kicks in at $199 a year, every year, for as long as you keep the company alive.

Nothing shady about that. Both prices are printed publicly. It is just that one of them recruits you and the other one bills you, and the one that bills you does so indefinitely.

Two hundred dollars of daylight after three years, on a job where the deliverable is identical: somebody keeps an Arizona address open during business hours and hands you anything a process server drops off.

Same-day scanning is the headline. Papers served at our Arizona office go out to you as a scan before the business day ends, because your clock started when the server let go of them, not when your provider got around to it. Everything else fits on one line each:

  • The renewal is $99. It was $99 last year and it will be $99 next year.
  • Our Arizona street address goes on your Corporation Commission record instead of your address.
  • Compliance alerts are part of the price, not an upgrade path.
  • Non-legal mail scans at $15 an item. That is the only other number in our entire pricing.

Are we the cheapest in Arizona? No. BetterLegal puts $90 a year on its site, which is under us by nine dollars, and we would rather tell you that than have you find it later and wonder what else we skipped. Our $99 sits among the lowest published annual rates in the state and, unlike a teaser, it is also the number you pay in year eight.

ZenBusiness Out: Arizona Wants L020 and M002

Two forms, five dollars, done. Here is the actual sequence.

Arizona handles business filings through the Arizona Corporation Commission rather than a Secretary of State, so ignore any support script that sends you to an SOS website. LLCs file the L020, the statement of change covering an LLC's principal address or statutory agent, and the fee is $5. Corporations file their own change statement and pay nothing for it. You can do it on paper or online through the state portal at ecorp.azcc.gov, and $35 buys expedited processing if you are up against something time-sensitive.

The second form is the one that catches people out. Your incoming agent has to sign Form M002, the acceptance, and until the Commission has it your appointment is not legally effective. No fee for it, but no skipping it either.

That rule is actually working in your favor. Because the acceptance carries the new agent's signature, Arizona will never record a change to somebody who has not already agreed to take the job. So you hire first and file second, the record swaps one committed agent for another, and there is no window at all where your company shows up in the state's database with nobody covering it. Sign up with us and we hand over the Arizona address the L020 asks for plus the signed M002, on the same day.

Once it processes, look your entity up in the Commission's public search and confirm the change landed. Then go cancel ZenBusiness directly, because updating a state record has never once stopped a subscription from renewing.
