Four Small Charges Beat One Big One, Sometimes

There is a real case for quarterly billing and it deserves saying before the criticism. If your cash position is tight and lumpy, four moderate debits spread through the year can be much easier to absorb than one annual hit landing in a bad week. Swyft Filings has been in the formation business a long time, the ordering flow is clear, and choosing a payment rhythm over a payment total is a legitimate call for some owners to make.

None of that is the problem. The problem shows up when a per-quarter price gets set next to a column of per-year prices.

$149 Times Four

Agent service at Swyft Filings is billed at $149 a quarter. Four of those land in any twelve-month stretch, which annualizes to about $596, and we found no separate first-year reduction anywhere in the structure.

Look at the top row, which converts our annual price down instead of theirs up. Twenty-five dollars a quarter against $149 a quarter is the same comparison read from the other end, and it is a lot harder to misread.
